Maybelline New York color sensational vivid matte liquid will make your lips feel saturated. They came out with a collection of vivid colors with a smooth matte finish. It is infused with pure pigments for high-impact color that glides easily onto your lips for a smooth creamy finish once it dries up. I received the Nude Flush 10 and the Rebel Red 35 to try for free in return for an honest review. Maybelline basically recommends for you to apply the matte liquid color in the center on the upper lip then work around your lips.

My Experience With The Vivid Matte Liquid lips:
At first I didn’t read the instructions and applied 2 applications: I applied it on the top lip area and bottom lip area and my lips felt completely drenched. I love how rich it feels on my lips. I have dry lips and it didn’t make my lips feel dry like some matte brands do. The Nude Flush is my favorite because I prefer pinks, nudes and berry colors on my lips. I also love this one more than the Rebel Red because it left a beautiful fresh matte color on my lips. The Rebel Red in the other hand completely confused me because it had some shine to it. They both had a tolerable nice soft scent to them. When I used the Nude Flush to run some errands for a few hours I didn’t need to reapply more. The next day when I used the Rebel Red out to dinner some of it came off and I needed to reapply because I didn’t use a straw to drink my water and I patted my lips a few times to wipe food off my mouth. I am not sure if I will purchase the red in the future because it does not look totally matte but I definitely plan to purchase the Nude Flush again once it’s finish. I also plan to try the other colors because it is affordable at 7.99 each and I love the way it feels on my lips.
I’ll have to try the nude because a good nude is so difficult to find with my skin tone. Have you tried Colour Pop by any chance? They look good too, but I’m still on the fence.
No I haven’t tried Colour Pop but will check it out Mona :).

I can’t tell you how many times I walk past these at the drugstore because I am unsure about them. After your review I will probably purchase at least 1 to try out. I have seen these every time I walk through the drugstore but never picked it up because I read so many mixed reviews about it. Love both shades on you though, the red is stunning on you.

These colors are gorgeous!! I am so glad to hear that these lip mattes don’t feel dry on already dry lips – I often avoid wearing lip colors because of how dry they make my lips feel.

I also tried this product and agree with your thoughts. I have the red lip color and definitely felt like it was more glossy than matte so glad to know I’m not the only one that felt that way. I didn’t realize there were instructions though so I’ll have to give it another chance.

I am LOVING matte colors. Both of these shades look stunning on you! I haven’t tried these yet…picked up a few others from Stila and Tarte, I think…Stila has been my favorite so far. I will definitely pick up a few of these next time I’m at the store…thanks for the review!
