Romantic Valentine’s Day Makeup Tips For Everyone

Love is in the air this time of year. The first thing I enjoy doing when celebrating Valentine’s Day is spend time with my first true love, makeup. Pampering myself with romantic Valentine’s day makeup before going on a date with my husband is important to me. My goal when applying my makeup is to enhance my features. However, some women use it to alter their nose, checks forehead and other problematic areas on their face and chest.

Let’s begin by saying, dolling myself up every day makes me feel self-assured and put-together. For me, it changes my mood in a positive way and makes me feel like I can concur the world. Everyday I use natural earthy palette tones. My favorite are brown, yellow and cream tones. However, during the holidays like on Valentine’s Day, I tend to go more bold like deep gray or maroon tones for my eyes and maroon or deep pink for my lips.

Reasons I Love Wearing Makeup:

There are so many reasons why I love wearing make. For starters, I love that it starts a conversation that brings women together. For instance, I’ve bonded with so many women over great makeup recommendations and makeup tutorial tips. I also really like that it is fun and the options of creating looks are endless—depending the mood I’m in.

  9. Lately I tend to find an image that I want to mimic and then start to play. It’s a lot of fun. I live for a good lip balm though, that is something I can not go without!

  10. I love make-up but find myself wearing the same looks over and over. This post inspires me to change it up!

  12. I think makeup is magical because when applied with skill and artistry, it can make anyone look fabulous. I don’t wear it much because I’m not skilled at it but I wear lip colors and eye pencil daily. That is it for me.
