Powerhouse Superfoods To Feed And Boost Your Immune System

This post was created as part of the #GenesisTodaySuperfoods August Challenge in which I am a financially compensated blogger ambassador for Genesis today. The opinions are my own and based on my own experience.

The best way to stay healthy is to feed your body a wide variety foods enriched with vitamins. Even though we know this, it is difficult for us to do for whatever reason. This is why it is important to add superfood supplements to our daily routine. Furthermore, adding a combination of fruits|vegetables and supplements everyday will boost your immune system and help your body function properly.

Over the years my body changed tremendously especially after having children. I first developed eczema which makes my skin inflamed and irritated. Also, I become lactose intolerance. Because of this, my body could not digest lactose (sugar found in milk and dairy products) easily. Almost every time I had dairy products, I would get gas, belly pain and bloating. In addition, my stomach was producing too much acid due to Gastroenterology esophagus reflux disease (GERD). GERD affects the ring of muscle between the esophagus and stomach. Due to these issues, I find superfoods I put in my smoothies like cantaloupes and Mangosteen from Genesis Today reduces my inflammation and irritation. Genesis Today superfoods products are certified organic, kosher, vegetarian, gluten free and lactose free. What’s more amazing about their products is they’re healthy, easy to use and tasty. They are running a promotion for 20% off anything online until 9/10/2016, promo code: SUPERSUMMER.

    1. I so love cantaloupe especially because it doesn’t irritate my stomach. Some fruits that are too acidy triggers my GERD but cantaloupe and watermelon does not affect it at all. 🙂

  1. I love fruit and I’ve been trying to buy more so that I can add them in my diet every day- but the kids keep eating me out of house and home and all the fruit I buy. I should BUY MORE!

  2. These are very good. Apple juice has a lot of benefits especially when it comes to boosting your immune system and getting rid of toxins!

  3. All of the health benefits of superfoods are really incredible. It makes such a difference to put these kinds of things in our body versus the typical preserved, processed products we’ve come to think of as “food”.

  4. I love cantaloupe, mango and strawberries and also goji, and unfortunately I am a fussy eater, So supplements would be very good to me. I know I have to do something soon, cause I very often lack energy 🙂 due to lack of vitamins and protein. i don’t lik bananas or acai, but in a smoothie I can take them 🙂 I liked your post very much! Hope you have a very beautiful weekend!

  5. I love eating whole foods to help boost my immunity. After having kids my health has changed and I’m doing everything I can to stay healthy.

  6. I love this because I can never eat enough to get all the vitamins and nutrients that I need. That smoothie sounds amazing.

  7. I learned a few things here. You don’t really see people talking about the benefits of cantaloupe. And, I’ve been eating a lot of mango lately – good to know that it improves bone health, hair and skin.

  8. I think I should try this now. I am looking for a food that will regenerate my energy. Maybe this is the answer.

  9. i always have bunch of fruits to my fridge! i make them smoothies as fast snack after our family swim everyday. it easier for us to have all the fruits at once sip.
