I have never been able to get on the Matte lip train. maybe my lips are just too dry, but they always look flaky and dry on me no matter what I do.

I don’t usually go for matte lipstick, but these have Shea butter so I think they won’t really give that painted dry look and feel.

I only use most of the time matte lipstick. I might put a slight shade of lip gloss over it. I feel it stays on so much better. Love the color.

I loved the Rich Mahogany color and matte lipsticks are very good, but you are right, one needs to do something before, with scrubbing and balm. I many times wore some lipsticks that looked cakey, so a balm is always good! I would like to try these lipsticks! Hope you have a lovely weekend!
